Official Rules for the Classified Marketplace
"Movie of the Month" Ticket Giveaway Contest
1. By entering this contest, winners agree to these rules and the decisions of the judges and further agree to allow Detroit Meida Partnership, The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press to use their names and photos for publicity purposes without compensation.
2. Employees and independent contractors of Detroit Newspaper Partnership, L.P., The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, Gannett Company, Inc., MediaNews Group, Solomon Friedman Entertainment, Allied Advertising,Terry Hines & Associates and any affiliated companies and their respective immediate families are not eligible.
3. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
4. Entries for prize drawings must be received by the deadline indicated at the contest website located at marketplacedetroit.com.
5. No purchase necessary. Enter online at www.marketplacedetroit.com.
6. By entering this contest, you grant permission to Detroit Meida Partnership to contact you, from time to time, for market research purposes or to provide promotional messages (in the form of mail, telemarketing or e-mail) about services and specials offered by Detroit Media Partnership, The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press and/or its advertising partners.
7. All prizes will be awarded. No prize transfers or substitutions, except by sponsor due to unavailability. Prizes may be substituted for prizes of like value at the sponsor's sole discretion. All taxes are the responsibility of the winners.
8. This promotion is subject to federal, state and local regulations and laws, and is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited.
9. Contest open to U.S. citizens only.
10. Odds of winning based on number of entries received. Entries limited to one entry per household per day. Winners will notified by the advertising agency handling the promotion of the respective movie. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. Prizes will be mailed or, winner may be asked to pick up prize from Show Box Office. Seating at movie premier is not guaranteed and is on a first come basis.
11. This promotion may be cancelled or postponed at the discretion of the publisher. However, in the event of cancellation or postponement, all prizes will be awarded.
